2D shaftwall CH Stud Revit family with parametric dimensions for depth and width.
Profile shape:
The "C" portion of the profile has flanges for gypsum board attachment.
The "H" section is created by an additional flange or stiffening rib to receive 1" thick gypsum board panel retention.
Sizes:
Commonly range in width from 2-1/2", 4", and 6"
The width of the flange is typically 1 1/2".
C-H studs, CT, or shaftwall studs are used in metal framing to enclose vertical spaces such as elevators, stairwells, ducts, or utility shafts.
Shaftwall CH Stud is used in combination with E shaftwall profile and gypsumboard.
