Two Revit railing families representing a glass system with a square cap rail and continuous aluminum shoe side and top base types. The system includes a single glass panel, securely seated within the base shoe extrusion, providing a simple, modern appearance suitable for balconies, terraces, decks, floor edges, and stairs.
The glass railing is for 1/2" thick glass panel.
The railing height is adjustable by modifying the parametric profile of the glass panel, allowing flexible design control. The round top cap rail and shoe base are modeled as separate profiles that can also be adjusted to accommodate different glass thickness. The shoe base is attached to the edge of the floor or slab, or can be recessed in the floor.
Ideal for architectural design, visualization, and construction documentation where a minimal, contemporary railing solution is required.
