This generic Revit railing family represents a glass system featuring a continuous aluminum shoe base and a round top cap rail. The system includes a single glass panel, securely seated within the top-base shoe extrusion, providing a clean, modern appearance suitable for balconies, terraces, decks, floor edges, and stairs.
The glass railing is for 1/2" thick glass panel.
The railing height is adjustable by modifying the parametric profile of the glass panel, allowing flexible design control. The round top cap rail and shoe base are modeled as separate profiles that can also be adjusted to accommodate different glass thickness. The shoe base sits directly on the floor or curb surface.
