Fully parametric exterior folding bifold glass door Revit family with configurable left- and right-folding panel configurations. The family allows control of overall width and height, number of panels per side, individual panel widths, frame thickness, sill condition, and door offset from the wall face.
Panels include true 3D swing geometry for accurate visualization of folding and stacking behavior in 3D views, along with coordinated 2D symbolic swing representation in plan views. The family supports flexible panel counts, enabling symmetrical or asymmetrical folding layouts, and is suitable for detailed design, visualization, and documentation in exterior applications.
Rough Width/Height Length Defines the main structural opening in the wall.
Panel Thickness Length Adjusts the depth of the individual door stiles and rails.
Opening Angle Angle Controls the 2D/3D fold state (0° for closed, up to 90°+ for stacked).
Left/Right Panel Qty Integer User-defined number of panels per side.
Visibility Graphics Boolean Toggle between "Coarse" (simple box) and "Fine" (detailed profiles) detail levels.
Inspired by glass folding doors such as: NanaWall, LaCantina Doors, Centor, Marvin, and Origin.
